To acknowledge and commemorate the remarkable accomplishments of women leaders from Pakistan and around the world, the 4th annual Kashmir HUM Women Leaders Award was recently hosted in Islamabad. Honorable visitors, such as President Dr. Arif Alvi and First Lady Mrs. Samina Alvi, were present to commemorate the award recipients’ inspirational accomplishments.
Sanam Jung and Hamza Ali Abbasi, who hosted the event, were dynamic and excitable on stage. The event highlighted the outstanding achievements of accomplished women who are having a positive impact on their industries.
Perveen Saeed, Khawar Mumtaz, Karren Armstrong, Laraib Atta, Sabina Khatri, Amna Nawaz, Dr. Zeba Sathar, Ronak Lakhani, Naeem Mirza, Dr. Naseem Salahuddin, Dr. Qurat Ul Ain Bakhteari, and Abida Malik were honored at the 2023 HUM Women Leaders Awards Ceremony for their outstanding accomplishments. These exceptional women are trailblazers in their respective sectors and have achieved great success through their stellar work.
The event was a joyful celebration of the outstanding contributions these women have made to their disciplines and society. Abida Malik, senior vice president of the Behbud Association, received the coveted Kashmir Golden Plate at the ceremony in recognition of her unrelenting dedication to helping disadvantaged women and children in Pakistan. She received the Kashmir Golden Plate Award from Mr. Danyal Kamran, Head of Communications.
Also honored for her inspirational work and services in Special Olympics Pakistan, Ronak Lakhani received the Kashmir HUM Women Leaders Award 2023 from Khushbakht Shujaat and Ms. Alina Lodhi, Senior Brand Manager.
Sabina Khatri, founder of Kiran Foundation received her award from Ali Zafar and our brand manager, Ms. Naweera Adnan.
The evening concluded with a soulful performance by Ali Zafar, mesmerizing the audience members and truly encompassing the inspirational spirit that filled the room as presented by our organization.
