Kashmir Cooking Oil partners with Akhuwat to provide relief for the 2022 floods in Pakistan.

40 million people have been displaced due to the floods of 2022, leaving 1/3rd of Pakistan submerged underwater. The scale of the catastrophic devastation caused by this natural disaster was unprecedented and caused a nationwide emergency… an emergency to rush to the aid of the affectees.

To do our part for our fellow countrymen, Kashmir Cooking Oil & Banaspati joined hands with Akhuwat to support the affected communities through its Box of Hope initiative.

The box of hope was filled with survival essentials and stood as a symbol of hope to show support to the affectees, the relief efforts were led through the campaign #YouAreNotAlone. The box consisted of banaspati, lentils, milk, tea, biscuits, rice and sugar, and was delivered to meet the immediate sustenance needs of the affectees.

To further their relief efforts in delivering emergency food necessities, Kashmir Cooking Oil visited schools in Lahore. The students volunteered by bringing items from their homes and assembled the Box of Hope with their classmates. Rosans Islamic School, International School of Lahore and The City School took part in this initiative and organized their students to come together and be a part of the 2022 flood relief.
