The 2022 floods in Pakistan displaced 40 million people and caused catastrophic devastation across the country. Kashmir joined hands with their on-ground partner, Akhuwat to support the affected communities through the Box of Hope.

The #BoxOfHope is a relief initiative that provides assistance to individuals, families and communities in Pakistan, to let them know they are not alone. The box was filled with essential food items and stood as a symbol of hope to show support to the affectees. The box consisted of banaspati, lentils, milk, tea, rice and sugar, and was delivered to meet the immediate sustenance needs of the affectees.

Additionally, the campaign garnered support from schools and engaged young students. The volunteering students brought an additional item from their homes and assembled the Box with their classmates. The partnership with Akhuwat helped deliver the student-packed boxes to the flood affectees.
